Lindsey

Owner & Founder

Lindsey, the driving force behind Cary Fit Project, is a passionate and experienced health and wellness professional. A lifelong Cary resident, Lindsey has dedicated her career to helping individuals achieve their optimal health and well-being.


With bachelor's and master's degrees in health and wellness, coupled with over 20 certifications and 18 years in the industry, Lindsey's expertise is unparalleled. Her extensive coaching experience spanning from athletes to corporate wellness programs, has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to cater to diverse fitness needs.


A former soccer player at both N.C. State University and the University of Florida, Lindsey honed her athletic skills and developed a deep understanding of sports performance. Her experience as a competitor in the Women's Professional Soccer League further shaped her approach to coaching and fitness.


Known for her unwavering dedication to her clients, Lindsey’s approach is holistic and personalized. She believes in empowering individuals to become their best selves by providing comprehensive guidance on everything from nutrition and exercise to stress management and mindset. As a former athlete and coach, Lindsey understands firsthand the challenges and rewards of a healthy lifestyle. Her own experiences have fueled her passion for helping others overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.


Beyond her role as a coach, Lindsey is also a dedicated community member. As a founder of Oak City United, a women's soccer team, she has been instrumental in providing opportunities for female athletes in the Triangle area.

Orthopedic Clinical Specialist & Fitness Instructor

Marian is the owner of Jaya Physical Therapy. She is an orthopedic physical therapist, who specializes in using movement as medicine. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016 and completed her double major in Biology/Psychology in 2013 from there as well.


As a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), Marian enjoys providing top notch care to active individuals, as well as performance training for high-level athletes. Jaya Physical Therapy is founded on her clinical experience and belief that proper identification of structural issues and movement pattern retraining can reduce pain and improve performance.

Pilates-Barre Sculpt Instructor

Eliza is a dedicated Personal Trainer at Cary Fit Project Gym with a passion for functional training and a background that blends diverse movement disciplines. Her journey began as a professional ballet and modern dancer, where she developed a deep understanding of body mechanics and the importance of precise movement. This foundation laid the groundwork for her approach to fitness.


With experience teaching and training in Barre, Pilates, and Yoga, she has developed a style that seamlessly integrates these modalities. Her sessions are designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and balance, focusing on functional movements that translate to real-life activities. She firmly believes in listening to the body and following its cues, tailoring workouts to meet individual needs and goals.


In addition to her movement background, she brings extensive knowledge in nutrition and holistic health to her practice. This comprehensive approach ensures that you not only achieve your fitness goals, but also cultivate an overall well-being.

Resident Chief Happiness Officer (CHO)

Meet Luna, the resident Chief Happiness Officer (CHO) of Cary Fit Project Gym. This Boxer beauty is a certified pro at relaxation and is always happy to offer her expert advice on stress management.


Whether you're crushing your workout or just need a quick breather, Luna's got you covered with endless tail wags and butt wiggles. She's mastered the art of relaxation and is the ultimate spotter for your mental health.


So next time you're hitting the weights, keep an eye out for Luna — she might just be your new favorite workout buddy.


Connie

Hatha Yoga Instructor

Connie Di Grazia is a graduate of the 2016 Republic of Yoga teacher training under the direction of Nicole Nichols. Connie has a gentle approach to yoga and has taught at O2 Fitness from 2017 to the present and now, also, CFP. Her gentle approach is great for beginners and intermediate yogis. 

 

Hatha Yoga-based classes will take you through some of the basics of yoga beginning with a warmup, grounding poses, and moving into some gentle inversions, twists, and more challenging balancing poses. Each class ends with the traditional 7-10 minute restorative pose—Shavasana. 

 

Connie Di Grazia began taking yoga classes in 2004 when she wandered into an introductory class in San Diego, California. From there, a dear friend brought her to her first Ashtanga yoga class at the Ashtanga Yoga Centers of San Diego, taught by Founder, Anne Nowell. She loved it and has made yoga a part of her fitness regimen ever since. To delve more deeply into her yoga practice Connie enrolled in teacher training and is a graduate of the 2016 Republic of Yoga teacher training under the direction of Nicole Nichols. Connie has a gentle approach to yoga and has taught at O2 Fitness from 2017 to the present. Her approach is great for both beginner and intermediate yogis. 


Katina Gad

Fitness Instructor, Trainer, and Nutrition Coach

Katina believes that fitness is meant to be fun, and that exercise is a celebration of what our bodies can do. She sees that everyone has individual goals and needs when it comes to health, wellness, movement, happiness, nutrition, inner peace, etc... and that these goals can all be achieved through strategic planning and putting in the work.


Katina always had a love for sports, dance, movement, and spending time in nature. She has also always been drawn to sports and dance, through childhood and young adulthood she played Soccer, did breakdancing, gymnastics, dance, hiking, and trekking. As an adult she fell in love with obstacle course racing, Animal Flow, yoga, Olympic lifting, and rock climbing to name a few of her hobbies.


Katina has a long time passion for teaching and has spent the past five years in the Raleigh area teaching/training/coaching others. In her own words: "I'm in love with watching the people I coach transform into the best version of themselves."
